Who created the flag?

The gay flag, sometimes referred to the „ocean gay flag“ was first designed on deviantART and based on the lesbian pride flag and rainbow flag.

While the colors represent community, healing, strength and joy,  the white stripe in the middle is a nod to the transgender flag and includes people who are transgender, intersex, gender non-conforming, or non-binary.
